MS 442 is a small, Integrated Co-Teaching Middle School located in Carroll Gardens, on Hoyt Street, between President and Union Streets, on the second floor of PS 32.
· Rigorous academic instruction individualized to student needs — accommodating the students who desire academic challenges as well as those who need academic support.
· Co-curricular and extra-curricular activities which include: Accelerated Science, Regents Algebra, Urban Agriculture and Green Roof Engineering, PVA Solar Energy study, Musical Theater, Basketball, Softball, New York Jr. Roadrunners Track & Fitness, Student Literary Magazine, Poetry Lab, Actors’ Lab, Japanese Culture, French Club, Chess, Art Portfolio preparation, and more...
· Partnerships with Grow to Learn, NYSERDA, Music Theater International, Education Commission of the States, Brooklyn Youth Association, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Good Shepherd Services, and other local community based organizations.
